Hours: 36.25 hours per week
12 months Fixed Term Contract
Are you looking for a varied role in a modern, customer focussed business that combines commercial thinking with social purpose? We are excited to introduce a brand new opportunity for a Digital & Learning Consultant to join Orbit’s People Development team.
Based across the Midlands, the East and the South East, Orbit is already one of the UK’s leading housing associations. We provide high quality, good value homes to over 100,000 customers across 42,000 homes. We are a big developer too, building 2,000 new homes every year. At the heart of this growth are our customers. We provide all sorts of homes for all sorts of people, and our approach empowers every one of them to grow and flourish. We make profit in order to invest into the communities we work for, playing a key role in driving UK housing growth.
This is an integral role where you will assist the Core Skills Manager in leading, developing and delivering digital and online learning interventions with additional focus on the delivery of IT systems training and wider learning programmes across the business. Working closely with the IT Systems Trainer, you will promote a broad range of both online and e-learning courses, to ensure appropriate and accurate comprehensive learning is available to all Orbit employees. This role will also require you to analyse performance and learning needs, providing advice and contributing to the design and delivery of face to face learning and development activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced trainer that is tech savvy and advanced in using and training Microsoft Office applications. Essentially, you will have experience of instructional design and copywriting. You will be a self starter who is organised and can comfortably manage several projects simultaneously. This role sits within a busy and fast paced environment and therefore would suit someone who is a strong and confident communicator.
Please be aware this role will be offered as a 12 months fixed term contract, with a possibility of extension or permanent opportunities.
We are happy to discuss opportunities for compressed hours to allow for a 4 day week.
To apply for this role please submit your CV and a supporting statement that demonstrates how you meet the key criteria we need. If you wish to discuss the role further, please contact Jen Cole at Retinue Solutions, on 0203 837 7909.
