We have a fantastic opening for an Employment & Skills Coach to join our Tenancy Sustainment Team at Orbit in Norwich. This is a great opportunity to assist individuals from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances to find work or additional training.
As an Employment & Skills Coach you will work with local partners and stakeholders to source employment opportunities for the local community. We are seeking an innovative and analytical person to come up with pioneering and exciting ideas to engage and motivate individuals to increase interest into employment and training.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in Coaching and working with jobseekers, helping them into employment, training or volunteering/work opportunities. You will need to demonstrate experience of managing case loads of people and appropriately managing their expectations and ensuring that they are given a first rate advisory service. You will be expected to continually support and provide aftercare once their assignment or training starts.
You will have experience of working with vulnerable individuals on a one-to-one basis; you will be patient, understanding and above all dedicated to assisting individuals from an array of backgrounds and circumstances. You will be used to working to targets and KPI’s and be able to manage your time effectively.
Good knowledge of the area, local labour markets and other orgaisations would also be desired for this role.
The hours will be Monday to Friday covering core hours totaling 36.25 hours per week. Candidates will be expected to be flexible and work some unsociable hours when required. A full UK licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance is also essential to fulfill the requirements of this post.
