Engagement Worker (Tameside)
Salary £20,910 FTE

Resourcing Group Futures are currently managing the recruitment for Threshold Housing Partnership’s Organisational Transformation Programme and are looking for dynamic and motivated Housing and Support professionals to join them in achieving their planned vision.
The new structure went live this month and has seen a huge change across all pre-existing services and the creation of innovative and highly specialist service functions.  Their desire to build and invest in a  strong workforce who are able support, empower, and motivate vulnerable clients to make positive changes and work towards sustainable independent living is at the heart of this transformation.
The Engagement Worker will form an integral part of the Great Lives service which is the Engagement and Support services arm of Threshold. This side of Threshold is responsible for providing skilled interventions for Threshold customers to help them achieve their aspirations and enjoy sustained outcomes.
Working as part of a team, the Engagement Worker provides a comprehensives service to customers/households living in Threshold supported accommodation. You will develop awareness and strategies to motivate customers to change their lifestyle so as to break cycles of behaviour which are contributing to negative outcomes. As the Engagement Worker you will be engaging with people who have refused other services, using your understanding and empathy, you will work with them to change their lifestyles and motivate them to engage with services to deliver the support they need.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of working with hard to reach clients, and have the ability to be able to undertake appropriate assessments to determine unmet support needs.
They are seeking like minded, passionate people with a ‘can do’ attitude who can come in and make a real difference to the services, and most importantly, the clients who use them.
The future of the organisation is bright, and getting on board with Threshold at any level currently is going to be a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop an exciting and innovative career path.
