We have an excellent opportunity for an ETL (Extract Transform Load) Tester to join our IT Department based in our office in Coventry.
In this key position you will take an active role in current test processes by conducting requirement analysis, Test scenario/test case development and test execution.
You will be responsible for a number of duties with in this role which will include writing and maintaining test plans and cases, investigating any issues that may arise with business application testing, logging errors including reporting to 3rd party suppliers and ensuring those errors are corrected and successfully retested prior to go-live approval.
You must have strong knowledge and experience in ETL process and data warehouse projects as well as a good understanding of data quality and experience and knowledge of data bases and back end testing.
We are looking for someone who can be hands on as this role is not just limited to data Warehouse projects so you will be expected to work and support as a system tester on other test projects.
It is essential that you have at least 2 years experience in ETL/DW testing and ideally we would like you to have an ISTQ certificate but this is desirable.
Knowledge or experience using automation tools would be an added advantage.
