Notting Hill Genesis are recruiting for a General Assistant to join their supported living scheme located in Kings Lynn.
Notting Hill Genesis Care & Support is one of the largest providers of housing related support to single homeless people within and around the Norfolk area. The aim of the services is to ensure our customers achieve their goals and aspirations through the support, encouragement and guidance of our staff.
Located at our scheme in Kings Lynn, the main function of this role is to maintain a clean environment for the customers and to ensure cleanliness throughout the premises, this includes supporting to maintain the cleanliness of kitchens and dining areas, including keeping equipment and utensils clean and safe; ensuring crockery and cutlery are clean and ready for use at meal times and cleaning all communal areas including hallways, staircases, communal toilets and bathrooms.
Please note this post is for 10 hours a week divided in to 3 days, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 2 days will be at 3 hours and 1 day at 4 hours starting at 9am.
We are looking for someone who can deliver work to a consistently high standard in line with the requirements of the service and working on their own initiative.
Ideally we are looking for someone with Experience of working in services for customers with similar care and support needs in a health, social housing or social care environment or Experience of similar work in public/social setting but this is not essential.
Please note the salary is £18,252 pro rata (£4,680 per annum)
