Housing Management Worker
Oldham
£ 20,910 - 20,910 per year Permanent - Full time
Housing Management Worker
Salary £20,910

Resourcing Group Futures are currently managing the recruitment for Threshold Housing Partnership’s Organisational Transformation Programme and are looking for dynamic and motivated Housing and Support professionals to join them in achieving their planned vision.

The new structure went live this month and has seen a huge change across all pre-existing services and the creation of innovative and highly specialist service functions.  Their desire to build and invest in a  strong workforce who are able support, empower, and motivate vulnerable clients to make positive changes and work towards sustainable independent living is at the heart of this transformation.

The Housing Management Worker will form an integral part of the Threshold Living service which is the Property and Housing Management arm of Threshold. This side of Threshold is responsible for providing good quality, well managed homes for Threshold customers to live in.

You will be responsible for working closely alongside the Housing Management Coordinator to develop the service, improve service user involvement, and to maximise rental income. Alongside this, you will be robustly managing tenancy related breaches (such as ASB, abandonments, and dropped Housing Benefit claims).

You will be responsible for working closely with your team to encourage information sharing and ensure best practice and service standards are achieved. Using your experience of Supported Housing, you will be providing an excellent standard of housing management in line with procedures, service standards, regulations and good practice.

The successful candidate will need to have Housing Management experience and experience of working and engaging with vulnerable clients. Key accountabilities are that properties are ready at the right time, to the right standard, and ensuring minimal delay in allocations and lettings.

They are seeking like minded, passionate people with a ‘can do’ attitude who can come in and make a real difference to the services, and most importantly, the clients who use them.

The future of the organisation is bright, and getting on board with Threshold at any level currently is going to be a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to develop an exciting and innovative career path.
