Are you good at data entry? Do you want to work for a friendly, high performing team?
We’re a social business with real commercial sense. Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) works in the community, providing homes for lower-income households. This is our primary purpose, and everything else we do supports that aim.
We’re offering an opportunity for you to join us as a Data Administrator in our HR team, on a fixed term contract until September 2021. We make sure that our people data is right first time, every time, so that our staff have the tools they need to do their jobs, get paid accurately and on time.
We need your ability to quickly get up to speed with our HR system iTrent as well as your impressive ability to work quickly and accurately through a high volume of database work to tight deadlines.
In this job you won’t just be plugging numbers into a database. You’ll need to be able to understand the background to the changes being made – people moving to different jobs within the organisation, joining us, leaving us, and more!
We’ll quickly come to trust you to update iTrent and gather quality data from the business, so your work here will be important. For this reason, we’ll need you to have experience of administration, be proficient with Microsoft Office and ideally have worked with iTrent before. If you don’t have experience of working on iTrent, that’s fine, but you’ll need to put your skill at getting to grips with new systems quickly to use, as iTrent is a complex database.
This is a great opportunity, we’ll offer you 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), health cash plan, cycle 2 work scheme, life assurance and a generous contributory pension offer. The appointed candidate will join on the starting salary which will increase to £24,896 after successful completion of probation.
The role is offered as a fixed term role until September 2021 (all benefits including holiday are pro-rata as per the length of your fixed term contract).
We are looking for someone ideally to be able to start as soon as possible (subject to pre-employment checks). The role will be based at our Bruce Kenrick House Office in Kings Cross. In line with current Government restrictions you will be expected to work from home but will be required to work from the office when necessary for business need.
To apply for this role, please upload your CV and supporting statement. Please note a supporting statement is not a cover letter. Your supporting statement (about 500 words long) should cover the following:
your experience of working with databases (please tell us about your iTrent experience if you have it, and what you think you would do to pick it up if you don’t)
your experience working in administration (please give us examples of work that’s gone well and why)
why you’re the ideal candidate for this role
