Orbit is a fantastic business and one that’s really going places.
Based across the Midlands, the East and the South East, Orbit is already one of the UK’s leading housing associations. We provide high quality, good value homes to over 100,000 customers across 42,000 homes. We are a big developer too, building 2,000 new homes every year. At the heart of this growth are our customers.
We are currently recruiting for a HR Solution Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team on a permanent basis.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to help define and design the structure of the Orbit's HR system. You will be joining our team as we embark on a full HR system transformation, and implement a new cloud based HR system. You will be the solution lead to deliver this area of our wider transformation project.
Reporting into the Head of Architecture and Strategy, we are looking for someone innovative, with a deep understanding of HR systems architecture, who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure that our final product is fit for purpose across the whole end to end platform.
For this vital role we need a strong communicator who has the ability to research, evaluate and advise on emerging technologies, and assess their suitability. Your experience will need to include delivering a new HR platform; as well as comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics/Workday and Office 365.
Please consult the attached role profile for a full summary of the technical requirements and essential skills.
We believe that an organisation's best asset is its people, and as such we want everyone to feel that they can make a difference. We want to unlock the potential in all Orbit employees and maximise their satisfaction in the job. We have a corporate training programme, opportunities for professional development and volunteering. Our staff tell us that we are a great organisation to work for and we offer excellent benefits including private medical insurance, discounted dental insurance, gym membership, up to 29 days holiday and a competitive pension scheme.
