Key Worker – Stockport Targeted Prevention Service

Resourcing Group Futures are currently managing the recruitment for Threshold Housing Partnership’s Organisational Transformation Programme and are looking for dynamic and motivated Housing and Support professionals to join them in achieving their planned vision.
The new structure went live this month and has seen a huge change across all pre-existing services and the creation of innovative and highly specialist service functions.  Their desire to build and invest in a  strong workforce who are able support, empower and motivate vulnerable clients to make positive changes and work towards sustainable independent living is at the heart of this transformation. 
The Key Worker role will form an integral part of their Stockport Targeted Prevention service which has been commissioned to provide early help and preventative support to a wide range of vulnerable people and households in the borough. Support will be delivered through an alliance of 6 organisations working in partnership with Stockport Council.
The alliance aims to utilise skills, knowledge and expertise from each of the 6 partners to provide a wide-ranging service which is able to utilise unique referral pathways to ensure the client receives a high quality support package.
You will be responsible delivering a strength based, person centred support service which focuses on enabling clients to find their own solutions and make positive life changes. You will be providing a holistic and targeted support service to clients with a wide range of needs and be working closely with alliance partner agencies in order to coordinate a multi-agency approach enabling clients’ access to various services and advice.
The successful candidate will need to have a proven track record of working with vulnerable clients this can come from a range of specialisms including supported housing, community engagement, youth, mental health, substance misuse and offender services.
They are seeking like minded, passionate people with a ‘can do’ attitude who can come in and make a real difference to the services, and most importantly, the clients who use them.
