Our Apprenticeship Programme
In our 12 month scheme, you’ll be welcomed into a team at Orbit in an entry-level role. There you’ll be supported by your line manager and colleagues as you learn on the job and get the chance to gain all sorts of qualifications from NVQs in housing, to CIPDs or an AAT finance certification. Our Apprenticeship Programme will provide you with the opportunity to gain the skills, experience and qualifications you need to secure the job you want, whilst getting paid in full time employment.
As well as learning in your team, you’ll have the chance to get together with all the other Apprentices and deliver your own project. The latest? …. our current Apprentices have just delivered a wellbeing programme for our employees which was a real success across the business.

Reporting to the Senior Lettings Assistant, the role of the Lettings Apprentice will to be assist the team in providing an excellent, effective and customer focussed lettings (rental) and voids management (turning homes around from tenants who have left to the new tenants moving in) service to all customers. As part of the Lettings Team, the Lettings Apprentice will help to ensure our homes are let within agreed targets and in line with relevant policies, procedures and Orbit’s Customer Offer, with a focus on sustaining tenancies and minimising void loss.
What We Offer
The scheme is a 12 month placement starting in September 2019.
During this time you will gain a Level 2 Apprenticeship and upon completion, also be able to move onto an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Although it is our intention to offer you a permanent role at the end of the scheme, Orbit cannot guarantee this, however, the experience and qualifications that you will have gained throughout your time with us will certainly equip you for success in securing a permanent role in your career.

Our Apprenticeships are open to anyone over the age of 16.
For an Intermediate Apprenticeship you will need 5 GCSE at grades (A*-C/9-4) or equivalent including Mathematics and English.
