Hours: Full time 36.25 hours per week

As part of our continuous development of our service, we now have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (Home Improvement Agency) to join our Independent Living Team.
Reporting to one of the Occupational Therapists you will be required to carry out Independent Living assessments for people aged 18+ with a permanent and substantial disability or illness.
You will be responsible for minor & major adaptations, equipment and alternative housing solutions ensuring you optimise quality of life and enable clients to continue to live at home. Putting together specifications for the work is also vital to the role.
The ideal candidate will have community experience and knowledge of Occupational Therapy and assessments as well as a good understanding of the Care Act. We are also looking for someone who has strong written and verbal skills as this role requires a vast amount of communication and report writing.
A full driving license with your own vehicle is required as you will be travelling independently across Suffolk.
Typical working hours are 8am-4pm / 9am-5pm but there will also be the possibility of flexible working arrangements for this role.
