Notting Hill Genesis are actively recruiting for Project Workers to join our supported housing schemes located in Suffolk.
Notting Hill Genesis Care & Support are one of the largest providers of housing related support to single homeless people within Suffolk. We have recently undergone an ambitious change programme within several of our schemes across the county. The aim of the new services is to ensure our customers achieve their goals and aspirations through the support, encouragement and guidance of our staff.
This is an exciting time to join Notting Hill Genesis Housing as we are recruiting to several jobs in the Suffolk area. Located across several of our Busy St Edmunds schemes in Suffolk, the Project Worker will be responsible for delivering person-centred services. The scheme supports single homeless people who may have experienced drug, alcohol, substance misuse problems, and/or have varying support needs.
The primary focus of our schemes is to support clients in a range of areas, including finding employment, recovery from addiction, and building stability through a range of social activities. A successful outcome is achieved when our customers can move on to more suitable long-term accommodation, appropriate to their needs.
Although previous supported housing experience would be suitable for this role, we are also looking for inspirational individuals with great face to face customer service skills who will seize the potential of making a difference in people’s lives. We want to find motivational and enthusiastic individual’s that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people and delivering a person-centred service.
Hours will be 39 hours a week, over a rota basis including mornings, afternoons and evenings. You will be required to work some weekends.
