Full Time, 39 hours a week

Do you have a passion to support homeless vulnerable people living in supported housing?
Notting Hill Genesis is one of the largest providers of housing related support to single homeless people within Suffolk. The aim of our services is to ensure our customers achieve their goals and aspirations through the support, encouragement and guidance of our staff.
Located across two of our young people’s schemes in Sudbury, the primary focus of the Project Worker is to deliver person centred services and support clients in a range of areas, including finding employment, recovery from addiction, and building stability through a range of social activities. These schemes are accommodation based environments supporting homeless young people between the ages of 16-21 who may have experienced drug, alcohol, substance misuse problems, and/or have varying support needs.
A successful outcome is achieved when our customers can move on to more suitable long-term accommodation, appropriate to their needs.
You will be required to lone work and use your own initiative so you’ll need to be strong willed and confident as you will be supporting customers that can display challenging behavior. We want to find motivational individuals that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people.
