Would you like to work for one of the largest providers of affordable homes in London and the South East? Are you experienced in selling property and providing an excellent customer journey?
Notting Hill Genesis is a merged housing association following the amalgamation of Notting Hill Housing Trust and Genesis. It’s an exciting time to join us as we shape our future as one of London’s leading housing associations. An entrepreneurial social business with real commercial sense we’re a major player in the London Residential Development market. Our sales and marketing team is passionate about giving customers the opportunity to love where they live – we sell great homes and reinvest our surplus in building more affordable homes, so our success is vital to the success of the communities where we work. We’re excited that our commercial activity means that we can reinvest into our core social purpose. For many of our customers, home ownership starts with us.
We’re looking for a Sales Executive who will play a key role in our department through the sale of our impressive residential sales programme. Our pipeline is one of the biggest and most varied in both the Affordable Housing sector but also rivals that of many private developers. With a peak of 1,000 Shared Ownership homes for sale and 400 private sale homes each year over the next 5 years, this is a big challenge.
In this role you will be reporting to one of two Sales Managers, working alongside our other executives on their respective schemes and departments. You’ll work closely with our Progressions Department, Marketing Department, internal colleagues, external agents, solicitors and buyers to ensure the delivery of a seamless end to end sales process. This role will be based on one of our sales sites where, depending on the scheme, you will be selling shared ownership, private sale or both tenures.
Excellent sales and communication skills are absolutely vital in this role and the ability to develop and build relationships will be key. Experience in property sales is not an essential requirement for this post. We can teach you and help develop you on the processes around this. However, you must be able to demonstrate examples of meeting and exceeding sales targets in previous roles. As well as being sales focused, you’ll need to make sure you provide an excellent level of customer service and work in line with regulations around our products and leases, ensuring your records are kept up to date via our CRM and other processes involving the conveyancing process.
To meet our core objectives you’ll need to be flexible with the ability to workTuesday-Saturday, working hours that suit the clients for your specific scheme (this typically won’t be earlier than 8am or later than 7pm) on a 35-hour week. There may be the requirement to work the occasional Sunday for a launch event.
If the idea of being part of a team which is committed to making a real impact is of interest, then we’d love to hear from you!
In return we offer a competitive salary, generous annual leave, health cash plan, season ticket loan, life assurance and a generous contributory pension offer as well as other benefits packages. The appointed candidate will join on the starting salary which will increase to £33,151 after successful completion of six months’ probation.
