Orbit is a fantastic business and one that’s really going places.
Tenancy Services is part of the Customer Services Directorate and is split into two streams of Community Safety and Anti-Fraud and Response; both are responsible for delivering day to day tenancy management and are part of getting us match fit to embrace opportunities and challenges both now and in the future. Key to this has been changing how we work and how we deliver services to customers and work with our partners.
So far we have defined what we will and will not do in our role as landlord, created three regions, moved to a patchless model and created teams of experts rather than asking colleagues to be ‘jacks of all trades and masters of none’. To ensure we deliver what we say we will and to help drive where we go next, we are looking for dynamic and inspiring people to join our newly created Fixed Term Tenancies Team.
As a Tenancy Services Officer (FTT), you will manage the end to end process engaging with customers over the phone, via Skype or in writing, ensuring high levels of performance as well as services that are compliant, efficient, consistent in approach, cost effective and in the best interest of both customers and the business.
A proven ability to work at pace but with an eye for detail, to manage challenging conversations and to embrace change and deliver excellent outcomes is essential! We are seeking an ambitious individual who demonstrates passion and commitment in their work.
Our customers are at the centre of everything we do. We provide all sorts of homes for all sorts of people and our innovative approach empowers every one of them to grow and flourish. We are looking for someone who shares these ideals.
We empower our employees and enable people from every background to achieve their career ambitions by giving them the support, benefits, training and environment they need to thrive at work and in life.
As one of the country’s largest housing associations, Orbit is committed to its mission of Building Communities. Orbit is an ambitious, dynamic organisation with national reach and influence. We are passionate about making a real difference to our communities, ensuring our customers are proud of where they live.
We are commercially driven. The more profit we make, the more we invest into the communities that we work for, improving services and playing a key role in driving UK housing growth.
