Orbit has a fantastic opening for a Transactional Assistant to join their Rents Team in Coventry. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to progress a career in Housing and Finance.
As part of a team of 3 in the Transactional Services Centre, the Transactional Assistant will be responsible for covering all aspects of rent allocation including processing Housing Benefit payments, Allpay, standing orders and Universal credits. Other duties for this role will include printing bank statements, clearing suspense accounts and dealing with any queries.
This role is suited to someone who can demonstrate excellent organisation skills, has good attention to detail and has experience of working in a Finance role previously.
Having the ability to work well on your own initiative without supervision is important to this role. We are looking for a proactive individual who has strong literacy and numeracy skills and who has solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
