Void Sale Consultant

Salary: £24,582 - £27,313 per annum
Hours: 36.25 hours per week

Orbit are one of the UK’s leading Housing Providers and are looking for a Void Sale Consultant to join our Commercial team based in Stratford.
This exciting role will require you cover the Midlands, East and South regions and focus on the sale of residential property, land and other property assets in our portfolio. This is a key role to maximise revenue from our assets, enabling us to fund our build programmes and other initiatives. Reporting into the Void Sales Manager, and working with various internal and external departments, this vital role will see you responsible for ensuring the effective progression of sales of former Housing Association stock from start to finish. This will involve liaising with stakeholders, agents and solicitors, negotiating offers, and overcoming sales issues. You will also be tasked with identifying methods to sell stock, and conducting market research.
We are looking for a passionate and focussed individual, who with a proven track record in sales. You will have experience of working in a demanding and target driven environment. You will be self motivated, organised, and able to work independently, as well as an excellent communicator who is able to make appropriate business decisions on the sale of Orbit assets. To be successful you’ll need a strong desire to succeed, and an ability to manage your own working day.
It would be an advantage if you possess previous experience of property sales, negotiation, and sales progression, but we are welcoming candidates from diverse sectors.
You will need access to a car to meet the demands of the role, as a large proportion of the post will require remote working.
