We have a fantastic opportunity for a Waking Night Support Worker  to join our team and provide a person centred housing management service to our residents in East Hanningfield.
St Giles is a supported housing service situated in East Hanningfield, near Chelmsford. St Giles cares and supports older individuals with mental health and learning disabilities.
The Waking Night Worker will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of our customers and security of our scheme at night. This is an exciting time to join Notting Hill Genesis as we are recruiting to several roles across the Essex region.  The primary focus of our services is to enable our residents to maintain their tenancies by providing a housing management service that enables them to be pro-active and part of the community.
Notting Hill Genesis is a prominent housing provider to customers in London and the South East.  We have recently undergone an ambitious change programme in our services provided across the area.  The aim of the new services is to ensure our customers are able to maintain their tenancies as well as achieving their own goals and aspirations by having a stable and quality home to live in.
Although previous housing experience would be suitable for this role, it is not necessary, we are looking for inspirational individuals who will seize the potential of making a difference in people’s lives. We want to find motivational individual’s that have a genuine interest working with learning difficulties and delivering a person-centred service.
The starting salary for the role is £20,311 per annum. You will work 42 hours, over a fortnightly rota. Hours are 2000 – 0800. You will work alternate weekends. You must have a UK Driving License and access to a vehicle as you may need to travel to our Cranfield Court scheme in emergencies. Cranfield is based in South Woodham Ferrers.
